1. Do you collect and nurture emails?

You need to. Social posts come and go like the wind, but emails land right in their inbox and wait until they’re ready to read. Once they’re on your list, nurture them like a baby. A consistent, thoughtful email builds trust and turns followers into future clients.

If you podcast or blog, automate your weekly announcements. People are busy. A quick reminder in their inbox helps. You’re not bugging them; you’re making life easier for the people who want to follow you.

2. Are your offers getting lost in the noise?

Are you promoting something new? Having it on your website or socials isn’t enough. Feeds are saturated and people rarely revisit sites. Send it via email, ideally tucked into your weekly newsletter naturally so you’re not overwhelming anyone (like the offer at the bottom of this page!). We don’t suffocate our audience with obnoxious amounts of emails; we care for our people. We love them. Your offers should truly benefit them… so don’t be afraid to show it!

3. Are your freebies pulling their weight?

Again, they should opt in to grab these so they’re added to your email list. Getting gentle reminders of you every week and seeing what you offer. Make sure your freebie solves a real need aaaannd… is searchable. If people are Googling it, that’s your sign you’re onto something good.

4. Is your website doing its job?

And yes, you have to have a website. It gives you a home base outside of social media and boosts your SEO (which is huge right now). More than that, your site should guide people, not confuse them. Clear flow, strategic copy, and strong calls to action.

5. Is your branding clear?

People should instantly know who you are, who you help, and what you offer. What makes you different from any other out there. (We’ll dive deeper into branding and positioning statements soon! This is crucial to nail down.)
