My Projects
Content Writing for Coaches & Ministries
I love helping coaches, podcasters, and ministry leaders put words to the message God has placed on their heart. From blogs and newsletters to emails, course content, and podcast scripts, I write content that feels personal, prayerful, and full of life. My goal isn’t just to create more material for your business—it’s to help you share your story, encourage your people, and invite them into transformation.
Email Launch Content for a Christian Life Coach
This project was about so much more than “marketing copy.” I worked closely with a Christian life coach to create a 7-email launch sequence for her new program. We spent time in prayer, brainstorming, and pulling out her personal stories—weaving them into words that would truly connect with women who needed this message.
Instead of chasing algorithms, we focused on heartfelt storytelling. Each email became an invitation: not just to join a program, but to step into a Christ-centered space where lives could be changed.
Scope of Work:
7-part launch sequence
Prayerful collaboration & brainstorming
Story-driven, Christ-centered content
“I have loved working with Jaclyn! She so genuinely loves the Lord, and that gives me such confidence that she’s prayerfully helping me through a project. Her writing is beautiful and she does a wonderful job at taking your ideas, stories, and vision and bringing them to life through her words! I definitely recommend Jaclyn for any writing needs in your business so that YOU can stay focused on your vision, and Jaclyn can help you bring it to life!”

Publishing & Editing
Some of my favorite projects are helping authors bring their manuscripts to life and into the hands of readers. From devotionals to study Bibles, I dive into editing with a mix of nerdy joy (hello, passive voice and repeated words!) and deep encouragement for the author’s voice and message. I also format and design books for KDP so they’re not only polished in content but beautiful to hold.
Devtional Edit & KDP Publish
I had the privilege of editing and fully formatting this devotional—starting from a plain Word doc and transforming it into a published paperback and ebook. Beyond grammar and flow edits, I created the interior design, layout, and formatting for Kindle Direct Publishing.
This project was as much about cheering the author on through her nerves as it was about refining her words. Every page was smoothed for clarity and strengthened for impact—without losing her authentic voice or message.
Scope of Work:
Line editing for grammar, flow, repetition, and style
Interior design & formatting for print + ebook
Published on KDP (paperback + Kindle)
The author interviewed me about the process on her podcast.

Planner Reformatting (Lulu → KDP)
For this project, I reformatted an existing planner from Lulu’s platform to KDP. This meant adjusting technical specs like trim size, gutters, margins, and spine; reworking the cover; and providing optimized copy for the product description and author bio with SEO-friendly HTML formatting.
Scope of Work:
Reformatted for KDP (trim, gutters, spine, cover)
Optimized product description + author bio (SEO + HTML)
Guided client with step-by-step KDP publishing support

Study Bible Proofreading
I proofread the introduction and topical content for a study Bible, following a quick style guide and Chicago Manual of Style. This project was focused on grammar, spelling, consistency, and accuracy—the behind-the-scenes polish that ensures Scripture resources remain trustworthy and professional.
Scope of Work:
Proofread intros + topical notes
Checked grammar, spelling, punctuation
Applied CMS + style guide consistently
Full Manuscript Editing & KDP Publishing for Christian Apologetics Book
I provided developmental editing, line editing, and copyediting for this 400-page apologetics manuscript, shaping the tone, strengthening theological clarity, and ensuring a logical, reader-friendly flow.
I also handled the full publishing setup for Amazon, including interior design, front/back matter, formatting, and upload configuration for both paperback and Kindle editions.
Scope of Work:
Developmental, line, and copyediting
Interior formatting + design (print + Kindle)
KDP setup and upload configuration
Content Repurposing
Not every message starts as a book or a launch—sometimes it’s about helping pastors, coaches, or ministries share their heart online. I repurpose content like sermons, podcasts, or Instagram reels into written pieces that spark engagement and carry the same weight in text as they did live.
Instagram Content Repurposing (in progress)
For this project, I’m turning reels into carousel posts, interactive polls, and captions designed to build community and invite engagement—all while keeping the voice and message consistent with the client’s heart.
Scope of Work:
Repurposed video → social media posts
Interactive elements (polls, carousels, captions)
Consistent client voice + message
My Own Writing
While I love serving clients, writing will always be part of my own walk with God. Some of my most meaningful projects are the pieces I’ve written straight from my journal, heart, and prayer life—whether it’s devotionals, guest posts, or reflections that were later published. This category holds the words that came first for me, before they ever became “portfolio pieces.”
Raw Conversations Devotional Series
This devotional project is deeply personal—every entry was written by me, drawing from raw prayers and journal moments with God. I shaped them into a devotional with structure and design, not only for my own growth but to serve others in their walk with Him. Each page invites honest conversation with God, reflection, and a safe space to show up with our whole hearts.
Scope of Work:
Devotional writing (30 original entries)
Reflection questions + leader’s guide
Interior design + layout
The Gospel for Anxiety (Salt + Sparrow)
This devotional-style guest post was published with Salt + Sparrow, a Christian women’s magazine. The piece explores how the Gospel meets us in the middle of anxiety, grounding us not in striving for peace but in the steady presence of Jesus Himself. Vulnerable and scripture-rooted, it’s a reflection pulled directly from my own walk with God and His steadying Word.
Scope of Work:
Guest devotional writing
Women’s ministry audience
Biblical encouragement
Sample Devotions Collection
Written as short-form samples for job applications, these devotionals offer a glimpse of my writing voice across different contexts. Each balances creativity with Gospel truth, demonstrating how I adapt storytelling for varied audiences.
Scope of Work:
Short-form devotional writing
Story + application + reflection
Showcase of adaptable voice and tone
Romans 8 Devotion
This stand-alone devotional explores the abundant generosity of God through Romans 8:32. With Scripture focus, personal storytelling, and prayer, it encourages readers to rest in God’s unmeasured love.
Scope of Work:

Storytelling + theological clarity
Written for both individual and group reflection
